About

The Africologist was created to bridge the gap in discourse between the public and Africology (i.e., Africana Studies, African American Studies, Black Studies, and all that falls under the nomenclature). It serves as an analytical voice that is grounded by the ever evolving Afrocentric Paradigm. It should not be seen as antithetical to other like-minded platforms, however it is unique in its dedication to the aforementioned theoretical grounding. We wish to build a community of Afrocentric-minded intellectuals and academics as well as be involved in reciprocal support with other like-minded platforms that are dedicated to African liberation in all forms.
